This poster is digitized and produced by Ted Themelis in 2008 based on Kyaw Thu & DAG party(2006); this map is considered to be one of the best geological maps of Mogok published; however, some minor revisions were made after 2008 by Khin Zaw and published in Miner. Deposita (2015) 50:25–39 DOI 10.1007/s00126-014-0545-0; "Vanadium-rich ruby and sapphire within Mogok Gemfield, Myanmar: implications for gem color and genesis." Ted's original work in producing the Mogok map was based on actual geological research and specimens collected in 1997-2002 during his numerous expeditions in Mogok.
