Gemlab F-series Muffle Furnace (Model M76-1700, M76-1800)

Gemlab's Model M76-1700 ("MAXXI MUFFLE") vertical muffle furnace of unparallel technology combined with superior longevity and incredible versatility designed by Ted Themelis for flawless performance. The furnace is able for heat-treating between 1800 to 3,000 cts of rubies-sapphires in air, reducing, oxidizing or in vacuum, with or without addtives at temperature from 1200oC to 1700oC (1200oC-1800oC for model M76-1800).

Configuration of heating your stones
Heating without Muffle Tube
By removing the muffle tube and inserting special ceramic plugs, the furnace is converted to a bottom or top-loaded furnace allowing to increase the load of the gemstones by 30% to be heated.
Heating with Full Muffle Tube
Model M76 uses full muffle tube, OBE (Open-Both-Ends), OD= 76.2 mm, L=610 mm or optimum performance where precise control of the atmosphere conditions or vacuum is required. The crucible may be loaded in the chambers from the top, or bottom using the electric elevator

Heating with Half Muffle Tube
Half-muffle tube, COE (Close-One-End), OD= 76.2 mm, L=305 mm. may also be used where atmosphere conditions with positive pressure, or vacuum are needed. The crucible is loaded in the chambers from the top or bottom using the electric elevator.

UPGRADING TO 1800oC (MODEL F-M76-1800

Gemlab's furnace Model M76-1700 has been designed and engineered to be easily converted for 1800oC furnace temperature opeavertical muffle furnace upon reconfiguration of the following:
1) Change to 1900-grade Kanthal heating elements
2) Change B-type to 20/40-type thermocouple
3) Change parameters in the existing temp.controller
Al other parts (insulation, etc) remained unchanged

Standard package (Model M76-1800)
Order: Model M76-1800 as per above specs with M76-1700 but supplied with 1900-grade elements, one 20/40 type and one B-type thermocouple. This a complete package with full options included.
