These gems have been treated in our lab using borax-based solid additives using latest technology. Most of the stones emanated from Mong-Hsu (Burma), Madagascar, Mozambique. They are transparent, faceted, red with distinct orange-red tinge. They are of great gemological value because of their characteristic inclusions; they are alos used for jewelry purposes. Stones are available to 10 carats and they priced from US$10 per carat to US$50 per carat.
